Sustainability has been firmly anchored in the core of our company since day one. We want to be a role model and show how to build a company that is thoroughly sustainable while still being profitable. Here are some examples of how we live sustainability within the company:
Measure and optimize impact
We have the greatest influence through our product. We measure the CO₂ footprint and savings of each object we finance. This key figure plays a crucial role in our strategy.
Consider sustainability everywhere
Whether it's our company bank account, merchandise, or pizza on company expenses - we always try to consider sustainability. And as a startup with tight budgets, that can sometimes be quite challenging.
Transparency
We have been measuring our company's carbon footprint since the day we were founded. We are convinced that carbon accounting will become as standard as financial accounting in a few years. So why not integrate it from the beginning and lead the way?
Conscious purchasing decisions
We strive to keep the ecological impact of our spending and actions as low as possible. Currently, we are working on implementing a shadow CO₂ price in our operations. This means that before each purchase, we consider what the actual costs would be if a reasonable CO₂ price were taken into account. How does this change our decision?
